Synopsis:

This drama is based on the heroic character of Chun Hyang, who was brave enough to look for the lover of her own choice during the ancient Chosun period - which was known for its adherence to the strict ideals of Confucius. 

Sassy Girl, Chun Hyang brings the character to the present day, and offers a captivating tale of romance, jealousy, and arrogance, among other common every-day issues! Han Chae Young portrays the charming female protagonist Seong Chun Hyang, an industrious, amiable, and poor high school girl who has to work part-time to pay for her daily needs. After being transferred from his old school, handsome Lee Mong Ryong becomes Chun Hyang's classmate.  However, Mong Ryong's old flame Hong Chae Rin finds out about their romance. Filled with jealousy, she leaves no stone unturned in her quest to force Chun Hyang and Mong Ryong apart…
